Watch an interesting documentary about Charles Eyck’s period on Curaçao, him living at The Curaçao Museum as an ‘Artist in Residence’, (we love that term) and also his Artworks on our beautiful island, playing nonstop during our opening hours next to our impressive ‘Arbeidspaneel’, the famous ‘Workers Panel’ by Charles Eyck in the West Indies Room.
This documentary forms part of the recently opened Exhibition ‘Rinella Alfonso and Charles Eyck: Aan de andere kant van de van de oceaan’ at the SCHUNCK Museum in Heerlen, the Netherlands, next to the life-size projection of our Workers Panel ‘Arbeidspaneel’ in rotation with some sharp details of the ‘Workers Panel’ as a video installation. A big shout goes out to Omar Martha for his excellent craftsmanship as the maker of this Documentary!
This documentary is a wonderful collaboration with the SCHUNCK Museum in Heerlen, of which we are proud to be a part of. The documentary could not have been made without the efforts of a great many wonderful people, too long a list to mention here, who also contributed important information wholeheartedly into making the documentary a complete success, for which our warm thanks!
Want to know who contributed as well? Drop in and watch the documentary!
This documentary will play and remain on show next to the ‘Worker’s Panel’ at The Curaçao Museum simultaneously with the Exhibition in the SCHUNCK Museum, which will be on show from in Heerlen from May 20, 2025 until September 14, 2025 – so if you happen to be in Heerlen, make sure you drop in!
