Dear Friends of The Curaçao Museum,
You are hereby cordially invited to the opening of the new exhibition
“100 Opheto: Un Historia di Kòrsou”
On Thursday February 17, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at The Curaçao Museum.
100 Opheto is a platform that searches for the historical stories of the Curaçaoan people by examining meaningful objects they have kept, from the past up to the present.
By doing this, 100 Opheto wants to contribute to a common awareness of Curaçao’s past, in the belief that this will ultimately lead to new perspectives on the future.
Last year 100 Opheto was invited by the Dutch Design Week to showcase a first selection of objects and stories. Their audiovisual exhibition in Eindhoven, the Netherlands was very well-received by audience and critics.
Now 100 Opheto is finally coming to Curaçao!
Join the 100 Opheto team for the opening of this very special exhibition and let them tell you more about this unique project. In the weeks after the opening we will host interactive workshops in which you can become a part of 100 Opheto
by bringing along your own objects.
