“Still Life, Marlies Schoenmakers”

The Curaçao Museum.
Marlies Schoenmakers is well known in the Artworld and needs very little introduction.
In this exhibition, Marlies gracefully or better yet ‘serenely’ exhibits her beautiful and delicately hand formed ceramic vases.
Marlies started working on this very special project during the first mandatory lockdown on our island in order to keep a grip on the life that literally fell ‘silent’
and came to a total standstill.
This resulted in a Still Life of twenty seven exquisite and elegant ceramic vases.
