It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Opening of the
SOLO EXHIBITION
‘DE APRILMOORDEN’ by AVANTIA DAMBERG
On Wednesday April 20, 2022 from 19:00 to 20:00
Through 15 carefully elaborated and beautiful porcelain vases, Avantia Damberg, shares the history and story of the fifteen Chinese workers whom lost their lives, eighty years ago in Curaçao on April 20, 1942.
The crafting of these exceptional vases came to realization last year in Friesland, the Netherlands, with the support of the Mondriaanfonds where they participated in the ‘Open Stal’ Exhibition in the Netherlands whom celebrated their 50 years Anniversary as well.
